I wrote my own camera app. It saves only what was there the moment I press the shutter. No image stacking, no computation, no artificial intelligence.

Ordinary came out of wanting a camera that doesn’t decide for me. No smart corrections, no enhancement. I wanted to know how much could be taken away from a phone until only the moment was left. It has its own film simulations, optional grain and a manual mode. The photos are a little raw, sometimes grainy, closer to a memory than an exact record. That’s where their charm is.

I built it myself, piece by piece, without writing a single line of code. It’s in testing now.
