Rearranges a PDF into printable signatures.
Signatures are folded booklets that a bound book is built from — without them the block falls apart. When I needed to prepare such a PDF, I looked for a simple tool to make them and found none.
This one does a single thing: it takes a PDF, splits it by the chosen number of pages per signature and returns a file ready to print. It runs in the browser, nothing is uploaded. Printing needs double-sided output flipped on the short edge, otherwise the back pages come out upside down.
Booklet Maker
This tool rearranges your PDF pages into the correct order for printing and folding. It creates ready-to-print booklets directly in your browser.
- Upload: Drag a PDF file into the app.
- Plan: Choose how many pages you want in one signature. The “booklet plan” shows you how the whole file will be split.
- Create: Click “Create booklet” and download the print-ready PDF file or files.
- Print on both sides or Double-sided printing.
- Then pick the option Flip on short edge.
