At the time, I wasn’t familiar with what type of lens it was, but its design was so captivating that I knew I had to have it. That’s how I discovered monoclelens.
Even before taking any pictures with the lens, I had already fallen in love with how it complemented my camera setup. In images, its soft, dreamy aesthetic with lightweight design—resembling a body cap—made me eager to shoot every day. It encouraged me to shoot more often and simply enjoy the process.
I’m amazed by the character this lens brings to my images. When paired with Fujifilm’s unique film simulations, it creates a lot of room for exploration. And with this lens, there’s still so much to experiment.
