Drawing again, and looking for the smallest set of curves a thing can be made of.
I went back to drawing, and to describing things by looking for the smallest necessary intersection of curves. The point where the thing reads as something specific, something we would agree on, and nothing more has to be added.
Most of it happens in the negative space. Black against white, the balance between the two, and the shape found somewhere in there.
The subjects are ordinary. A moka pot, a bunch of bananas, cherries, a car, a snake wearing glasses.
I did not invent this style. It became natural without my having to design it.
